In This Topic
Create a complete metric sample from the provided data. The caller must write this sample for it to be recorded.

Parameters

rawValue
The raw data value
baseValue
The reference value to compare against for come counter types
rawTimeStamp
The exact date and time the raw value was determined
Remarks
To write this sample out to the log, use Log.Write. If you are sampling multiple metrics at the same time, it is faster to create each of the samples and write them with one call to Log.Write instead of writing them out individually.

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
